Welcome to e-VST (e Voluntary Sector Training), an e-Learning resource for Voluntary and Community organisations, which has been developed by SAVO CIC (Suffolk Academy for Voluntary Organisations).
"Thank You for the excellent value for money e-learning trusteeship course which I have recently completed. It was quite an eye opener as I never appreciated how much information a trustee is required to know and to have access/reference. The learning will prove to be worthwhile in my role as a new trustee for a small charity. I struggled with some of the modules but a combination of disciplined learning and understanding with some good guesswork got me through the tests. Now the best bit is applying that learning into practice in the hope to help provide a well governed charity." Ian - February 2016

For those of you about to fill in your Annual Return to the Charity Commission, you may be in for a shock. The Commission has produced a new version (CLICK HERE to see a copy) which asks a lot more questions than the previous form. The attached download contains the amendments and it is worth looking at this now, in case it takes you time to find the relevant information. It will not affect very small charities and some of the questions will not become compulsory until 2019.
